I have taken a biotin supplement for my hair and nails for many years, so adding biotin to a shampoo sounded like a good idea. Only time will tell if it actually thickens my hair, but I do like the way my hair feels when I use it. It has a pleasant scent, lathers well and leaves my hair and scalp feeling squeaky clean, but not dry. I have had scalp issues on and off for years and this feels good on my scalp and does not cause any itching or negative reactions. I also feel like it leaves my hair fuller and more manageable.Look and feel similar to other biotin shampoos that I've used before. Even the bottle shape.It creates a good amount of foam with just a little bit of shampoo and the vanilla scent is really nice.I will keep using it a couple times a week and update the review in the futureOf course, it's important to take any products claims to aid hair loss with a grain of salt. If there were a magic hair regrowth shampoo, everyone would know about it, and there would be no such thing as hair transplants or toupees.So I decided to review this shampoo on its merits as a shampoo, rather than on any claims to aid hair loss. This shampoo comes in an easy to hold container. It smells nice and lathers well. It made my hair squeaky clean but quite dry. I suggest a little conditioner after shampooing. If using this shampoo in aid of possible hair regrowth, one would of course need to control for many factors before making any assessment of the value in that regard. Time of year, nutrition, age, drug interactions and amount of activity in the sun. All of these could play a role in ones hair loss at any particular time. As a shampoo, this product works well. My hair felt clean and not overly greasy. That alone makes this a good shampoo!This shampoo lathers well. It has a clear yellowish color and warm vanilla scent. The scent wasn't very noticeable and I could only smell it when I smell directly from the bottle, there was hardly any scent left after I pour it into my hand. I didn't find the shampoo very moisturizing, I got a sleek feeling on my hair after using the shampoo and I had to smooth it out with my conditioner so I didn't particularly like how it made my hair feel. I was still able to run the brush through my hair easily but I think it was more of the conditioner that made my hair smooth and not much from the shampoo.This shampoo gives a good lather & has a good price point. It smells good too.I gave this four stars because it's not a bad shampoo. Not very foamy but it gets my hair clean. I'll have to wait a while to see if it does anything for hair loss.Right when I removed the little tab in the inside of the cap I immediately smelled cinnamon rolls. Like the big ones from a certain chain of cinnamon rolls. It smelled so good. However the shampoo was a tad too runny and didn’t lather the best. But the smell alone will keep this shampoo on my shelf! It smells soooo good.After using this shampoo, I feel that my scalp is not so tight, the moisturizing effect seems to be better, the dandruff is less, and there is no odor. Just the packaging is too simplistic
