The panels themselves are fine and it all assembled fairly quickly. But the little snap on flanges that attach the hose ring to the panel are flimsy and you'll probably end up taping it out of frustration of getting it to stay up. It hasn't broken, the clips just aren't strong enough to hold up the weight of the hose. Eh, these are all probably from the same manufacturer in China so this one is probably as good as any other. At least it was reasonably priced and arrived quickly.The vent kit that originally came with my Frigidaire portable unit was pretty bizarre, and was too large to fit in my pretty standard size upstairs window. I ended up accidentally breaking it try to make it fit. This was an incredibly simple fix that worked well that I should have bought months sooner.the exhaust hole is not for black and decker models. I cobbled it together using a combination of the parts that came with the ac unit and this product but it was not seamless. the tape sucks.I have the black and decker portable AC, So The hose ring is too big for this kit, The slabs are a tad bigger than the slabs that come with the AC, I was able to use both kinds of slabs and conjoin them together to make it longer as I needed. I would say buy the hose and hope it has the right ring to fit together properly.The product works like it is supposed to. Stable on an 80+ inch high sliding door. That being said, any panels of this kind will present installation challenges. Out of 3 we tried, including the one with the AC, this was the easiest, but don't expect any solution to be "easy". It takes a few tries of tinkering to get it to work right.Would be nice to have more tape. It is enough for one side of our installation.The insert that came with the a/c was too short. This gave me the extra length I needed to fit the tall windows.Easier than the original component.
