If you’ve tried conditioners from Honest Co. or any other popular conditioners for your kids, you won’t like this conditioner at first. But once you figure out how to use this one, you’ll appreciate it. Honest Co. brand conditioner is great for kids with really curly or coarse hair. I never have to leave it in to soak, because the hair is detangled and feels moisturized right away. BUT it’s quite heavy and takes a long time to rinse out. So I started looking elsewhere. I saw SimpliGrown and it caught my eye because it reminded me of a LittleTwig conditioner I currently use.SimpliGrown requires about 1-2 pumps on my toddler’s hair that’s a little bit past her shoulders. Her hair is fine but it tangles like crazy so I have to use conditioner or else I can’t get a brush through it. *Don’t rinse it out right away!* Let it do it’s magic for a few minutes. I let my daughter play for about 4 minutes while her hair conditions. Once you go to rinse, you’ll notice that the hair is so much silkier than if you had tried to rinse out after 30 seconds. This stuff is easy to rinse out, doesn’t make the tub super slippery and dangerous, and the ingredients are pretty clean.Turns out this brand has the same parent company as LittleTwig, so that’s why it caught my eye. I’ll probably just repurchase which one ever is cheaper because they both are really similar.I have a five-year-old daughter who has long hair. I’m always looking for new products to use in order to detangler her notes. This is the first time I’m coming across a kids leave leave in and wash conditioner. We’d love this brand of children soaps and body washes. This conditioner is lightweight we put on the ends of her hair and she washes it out. Her hair ends up being a lot softer she has lost tangles and overall easier to work with. This is some thing I would recommend using once a week. This line of soaps are all pediatrician tested so I feel more comfortable I have a five-year-old daughter who has long hair. The conditioner is Infused with Vitamin E and B5, Aloe Vera, Calendula and White Tea Leaf Extract, so if your kids are allergic to any of these ingredients it’s best not to use it. We’re happy with it and plan to continue to use it.I’m definitely a fan of this natural conditioner/detangler by SmpliGrown Bath Co. I ordered in Sparkling Citrus and Lavender, so I’ll review them both together.-Great ingredients. I won’t go into all the details, but everything is listed on the website-No parabens, SLS, sulfates, phthalates, artificial fragrance and dye-Made in the USA, cruelty free-Marketed as either leave-in or rinse out conditioner-Packaging is simple, but cute. I haven’t had any issues with the pump-Only 251ml, but fortunately I have found that I don’t need a lot at all to work completely throughout my daughter’s medium length hair (she is 5)-Makes her hair so soft and easy to brush in the bathNow the main difference between the sparking citrus and lavender, of course- the smell. I was actually much more excited about the sparking citrus when I ordered, but I ended up liking the lavender more. I usually prefer to steer clear from any fragrance, but I don’t mind since they use essential oils. The lavender smells lovely- strong enough to smell easily from the bottle and even when using, but not but overbearing-very nice and soothing. The citrus scent is much milder in my opinion. It smells good, but I feel like I have to really pay attention to smell it even just out of the bottle. I didn’t smell it very much when actually using and no discernible smell was left after rinsing. I wish they would put the tangerine peel oil a bit higher up on the ingredient list. Then it would be perfect for me.Anyway, both are very good products and I would highly recommend them if you like these scents! I do need to use a few more pumps than normal since it dispenses a small amount but I like that there are no unpleasant ingredients in the making of this product.I actually use this hair conditioner on my two sons a few days a week when they go do their competitive swimming practices because of chlorinated water. So after they use their chlorine removal shampoo, then this hair conditioner. That being said this hair conditioner won't last too long since it's not that big of a bottle. Thankfully they have short hair. I would say this is good for babies hair since it's not a lot and would most certainly last longer. In regards to the conditioner itself I like that it is organic ingredients. The quality of ingredients and packaging seem well made and match the higher price. I would most likely buy it a few more times but then will have to move on a to a different product since my kids are getting older - more hair and may not be as cost effective. But for smaller kids/babies I would recommend it.I didn't know what to expect from this conditioner. I have bleached hair and it's really hard for me to find good hair care products that are going to add hydration to my hair. And I have to say that this conditioner is not bad. As I was applying it, it immediately smoothed out my hair, and it really moisturized it. I also have trouble with tangly hair. And I was able to comb my hair easily after using it. My hair felt smooth and healthy. I really like it.
